Project Description

The DSE865 is an intelligent RS485 communications device that allows single or multiple generating sets to be monitored over a LAN or WAN connection. The device includes software to assign a TCP/IP address to a COM port on a PC.

The COM port needs to be selected by the user, using the control modules PC software. Once the COM port is selected the user has instant communication with their control module. In order to use over a LAN connection the on-site router must be configured to be accessible from any global location.
