The DSE334 Automatic Transfer Switch Control Module monitors the voltage and frequency of an incoming AC supply from two different sources. These sources can be generator or mains (utility), or a combination of both.
The control module monitors Source 1 (S1) and Source 2(S2). When a failure occurs a start command is issued to the inactive source to take over the load. The module will return the load to the mains (utility) as soon as this becomes available

Key Features | Key Benefits |
---|---|
Automatic switch over between supplies. | Switches power when mains (utility) supply fails and switches back when mains (utility) supply returns. |
Manual restore to S1. | Allows flexible control of source inputs. |
Configurable inputs/outputs (10/5). | Provides multiple installation options. |
Optional current monitoring. | Provides accurate information on over and under current conditions. |
Source 1/source 2 control. | Allows flexible control of source inputs. |
Check sync feature. | Ensures the smoothest possible transfer is achieved. |
Compatible with DSE160 power supply. | When no DC supply is available the DSE160 power supply connects to an AC power supply and then to the control module. |
DSE Configuration Suite PC Software. | Provides complete user-friendly configuration and easy-to-use high-level system control & monitoring. |
Configurable event log (10). | Provides access to historical alarms and operational status. |

DC Supply | OUTPUTS |
---|---|
CONTINUOUS VOLTAGE RATING 8 V to 35 V Continuous |
OUTPUT A (MAINS/UTILITY/S1) Normally closed volt-free output 8 A AC at 250 V AC |
CRANKING DROPOUTS Able to survive 0 V for 50 mS, providing supply was at least 10 V before dropout and supply recovers to 5 V. This is achieved without the need for internal batteries. LEDs and backlight will not be maintained during cranking. |
OUTPUT B (GENERATOR/S2) Normally open volt-free output 8 A AC at 250 V AC |
MAXIMUM OPERATING CURRENT 292 mA at 12 V, 167 mA at 24 V |
OUTPUT C (START AND RUN) Normally closed volt-free output 8 A DC at 35 V DC (UL Rating 30 V) |
MAXIMUM STANDBY CURRENT 101 mA at 12 V, 66 mA at 24 V |
OUTPUT D Changeover volt-free output 8 A AC at 250 V AC |
OUTPUT E Normally open volt-free output 8 A AC at 250 V AC |
